With bated breath, we tread this curious stage,
A play of life, where living feels like cage.
We chase a dream, to truly know what’s thrive,
Yet caught in webs, where merely we survive.
Love’s tender bud, a promise yet unseen,
We fear its thorns, the wounds that oft convene.
But one brave heart, who dares to feel the sting,
May find in love, a life that angels sing.
So cast aside the chains of mortal strife,
Embrace the flame, and find a truer life.
For love’s sweet nectar, though with sorrow laced,
Lifts us from death, to heights of life embraced.
