The sunset, the horizon,
Subtle waves caress your feet,
Cold sand and a light breeze,
The ocean, a heavenly retreat.
Mesmerized, I dove within,
My arms, now foreign, fail to steer,
The shore, a distant memory,
As I succumb to this devil’s veneer.
The sweet caress and cold sand,
Transform to currents that bind,
The ocean, a love-like labyrinth,
A beauty to behold,
Yet a devil in disguise, confined.
Reality distorts, a dream or fate,
In nature’s grasp, I am but a pawn,
A journey through this fluid gate,
To the bottom, my self is drawn.
